How It Works

Diagram showing the effects of wind on a rotating object, with arrows indicating wind direction, counterproductive and productive wind forces, and the center of rotation.

Step 1

All other vertical wind systems on the market today, regardless of their specs, are very inefficient. The same wind that creates rotation on any vertical system also creates resistance.

Diagram illustrating how a deflector changes the airflow and induces rotation in the aircraft's control surfaces, with wind flowing from left to right and the deflector causing the surfaces to rotate in opposite directions.

Step 2

The solution to overcome this situation is to block or divert the air flow from the opposing force side of the blade.

Our patent protected system, is the only dual vertical wind system with a deflector (diversion) shield.

Step 3

A second turbine placed on the opposing side further increases the efficiency of the design.

Our Technology

Design Benefits

  1. Automatic alignment to the wind, ensuring the system stays optimal with max wind force from all directions.

  2. A performance increase by naturally creating a Venturi effect between the turbines.

  3. Results have shown start up rotation speed in 3-4 mph winds creating low voltage power at 5-6 mph (12 – 24 volts) winds, perfect for battery storage or EV charging.

  4. With expanding blade lengths, we can develop torque to turn low resistance axial flux generators and produce 120 volts + for input at 8-10 mph to ensure grid-tie applications.

  5. The requirement for traditional 30-60 foot poles to capture high winds are not required, resolving the expense of very high poles with high service charges.

  6. At a height of 10-20 feet, costs and services are kept to a minimum. Our system meets city requirements of staying within the fall line of adjoining properties.
